He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Frank Steab and Emma Lois Morrill; and his brother Mark Steab. He is survived by : his siblings, Laura J. Goode, Curtis (Janeen), Ken (Suzanne), John and Dave (Jean).

Viewing was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kaysville City Cemetery (500 E Crestwood Rd, Kaysville, UT 84037).
