It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Smedley of Layton, Utah, born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Thurgood Smedley and Helen Delell Brunson Smedley; his parents-in-law, Varsel and Ruth Chlarson; his brothers-in-law, Rex Chlarson, Bart Chlarson and Steve Bjornn; and his cousin Jerold Smedley.
He is survived by: his wife Juliet Chlarson Smedley; his children, Varci Figuerres (Kevin) of Centerville, UT, Jenny Jaggi (Jared) of Grassy Butte, ND, Benjamin Smedley (Holly) of Plain City, UT, Polly Arey (Jordan) of Logan, UT, Kali Hoenes (Taylor) of Nibley, UT and David Smedley (Camille) of Layton, UT.; and his siblings, Terry (Sue), Marilyn (Richard), Craig (Jana), Melanie (Kelly), Lori (Scott) and Muu (Kosy).
He will be missed sorely, but we are so grateful that in heaven he can now do all the things that Parkinson's with Lewy bodies robbed him of.
