She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Waite and Nora Adams; and her sister Kaye Mifflin. She is survived by: her husband Loren A. Smith; her children, Burton Smith of Woods Cross, Duane Smith (Hollie) of Blackfoot, Sheldon Smith (Georgia) of Layton, Shaun Smith (Holly) of Roy and Tamara Meisman (Clayton) of San Antonio; and her brother Jay Burton (Marsha) of Fruit Heights. She is also survived by 13 grandkids.
There wasn't a charity or a person in need that she would turn away.
