He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fredrick Johnson and Vera Fern Carter; his sisters, Clara, Charlotte, Evelyn and Beth; and his daughter Nandra.
He is survived by: his children, Linda, John (Jennifer) and David (Jacqie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
