He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Earl and Melba M. Tilt; his children, Johnny, Michael Tilt, Brent Erickson and Julie Nielson; and his sister Ricki Archuleta.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Linda Marian (Ray), Brandy Frampton (Matt), Brad Erickson (Stacie) and Scott Erickson; and his siblings, Florence Koetje and Joseph E. Tilt. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
