She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. McConnell and Irene L. McConnell; and her siblings, Robert G. McConnell, Larry C. McConnell (Joann), Kenneth E. McConnell (Sherry) and Lucille McConnell.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Stromness; her former husband Monte Steele; her children, Kevin Steele (Cindy), Brenda Steele, Rick Steele, Darren Steele and Todd Steele (Chris); her brother Lester L. McConnell (Debra); and her sister-in-law Norma McConnell. She is also survived by her children, step-children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
