She is survived by: her husband Lynn William Giles of Saratoga Springs; and her children, Steven Metcalf (Kathy) of La Verne, California, Lynn Preece (Andy) of Eureka, California, Vicki Ludlow (Neils) of Newbury Park and Brian Staley of Sandy, Utah..

She donated monthly to the Yosemite National Park Conservancy.
