He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Carlton; his children, Carie Burnham, Brett Rex Burnham and Stacey Peterson (David); and his siblings, Keith M. Burnham (Shirley) and Sherry Nussbaum (Larry). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
