It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Long of Lehi, Utah, born in Provo, Utah, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Long and Esther Long (Crowther); his sons, Glen and Dr. David Long; and his siblings, Cleo Martin (Long) and Jesse Long.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Maxfield; and his children, Robert Long (Gail), Diane Harding Long Walker, Dr. Kenneth Long (Cathrie), Kathryn Burgess (James), James Long (Jolie) and Lisa Ann Almberg (Jason). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A. M. Due to the current pandemic and social distancing guidelines, face masks will be required during the viewing and funeral service.
