He was predeceased by: his parents, David Greenwood and Glenda Greenwood; his children, Raquel Thomas and Robert Michael Greenwood; and his sister Carma Greenwood.

He is survived by: his wife LaRae Greenwood; his children, Tom Greenwood (Susan) and Jill Devitt (Clint); his son-in-law Bruce Thomas; and his brother David Greenwood (Kathy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
