She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Forrest Hawthorn and Dorothy Jessie Leona Fishback; her sister Susan Hawthorn Nelson (Oliver Kay Welton); her granddaughters, Erin Snyder and Megan Welton; and her great grandchild Samuel Bryson.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Wagner of Orem, UT, Paul Welton (Susan) of Lehi, UT, Gregg Welton (Chris) of Casper, WY, Debra Snyder (Ronald) of Provo, UT, Ralph Welton (Amber) of Reno, NV, Jill Knapp (Stan) of Mapleton, UT and Boyd Welton (Sally) of Riverton, UT; and her sister Alice Hawthorn Collins. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
