She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leon Pate and Francis Elizabeth Pate (Strauser); and her siblings, Earl David Pate, George William Pate, Alvin Strauser Pate, Edna Mae Cleveland (Pate) and Joseph Drexel Pate.
She is survived by: her significant other LaVern Alma Rhoades.
