He is survived by: his mother Carol Singleton Larsen; his son Jakob Hirayama; and his siblings, Jarrod (Sally Stocker), Matthew (Teresa), Michael (Jamie), Jennifer, Heather Swenson (Jason), Megan (Angelique Melville), Adam (Amanda) and Ben (Kailene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
