He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina Dowis; his children, Deanna Palacios, Tamara Fernandez (Obie), Fleur Camacho (Victor), Ammon Dowis, Jonathan Dowis (Jennifer) and Sasha Dowis; his grandchildren, Skyler, Shelsea, Naomi, Araceli, Aiden, Kailani, Tenzen, Payton, Cash and Sailor; and his brothers, Walter Dowis (Cate) and Mark Dowis (Carolyn).
