It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dayton Leon Denton (Logan, Utah), born in Scranton, Arkansas, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Denton and Isa Denton; his wife Marion; his siblings, Bob and Linda Poole; his son Steven (Cathy); his granddaughters, Carolyn (Rick Elder) and Kaylee Volkman; his grandson-in-law TJ Fluckiger (Jenna Frandsen); and his son-in-law Ken Volkman (Beverly).
He is survived by: his children, Audrie Goldsberry (Gordon), Donna Conner (Chris), Helen Jeppsen (Jeff), Gary Denton (Roxie) and Beverly Volkman (Ken). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private family funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 21 at 1 pm.
