She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Hirschi and Anna Kunz Hirschi; her husband Karl; her son Rodney Karl Reading; and her grandson Bill Atkinson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Atkinson (late Spencer), Gayle Godfrey (Bob), Karla Reading (Allan Ayoub) and Salt. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
