He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Stokes and Hazel Stokes; his wife Hilda Stokes; his granddaughter Kandice Stokes; and his stepchildren, Edgar Hallberg and Corlene Rouse.
He is survived by: his former wife Cora Stokes; his daughter-in-law Diane; his granddaughter Holli; his siblings, Andrew Stokes of Wellsville, UT and Carol Hall (Blaine) of Orem, UT; his children, Roger Duncan Stokes of Shamrock, TX, Todd Stokes (Diane) of Herriman, UT, Judy and Centhia; and his stepchildren, Joyce Ricks, Anita Phelps, Rod Corry and Tom Hendricks. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
