He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Veatch and Patricia Veatch; and his brothers, Craig Nielsen of Logan and Steven Carl Veatch of Las Vegas, Nevada.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tyson, Jaxon Openshaw, Aspyn, Tahlen (Branch) and Harper Parkinson; his wife Kay Veatch; his daughters, Shayla Parkinson (Layne) of Wellsville, Shaleece Openshaw (Micah) of Hyrum and Shandel Veatch of Logan Utah; and his siblings, Nancy Ann Nielsen of Murray, Tab Nielsen (Carolyn) of Berthoud and Robert Nielsen (Gay) of Longmont, Colorado..
He enjoyed cooking, had a love for animals and spending time with his five grandchildren; Tyson and Jaxon Openshaw, and Aspyn, Tahlen (Branch), and Harper Parkinson.
