He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoffman and Lillian Andersen Hoffman; his siblings, Howard, Don, Grant and Kathryn Hoffman Powell; his son James C. Hoffman, Jr.; his daughters-in-law, Shannon Mann Hoffman and Diana Evelyne Lofgran Hoffman; and his granddaughter Rebecca Hoffman.
He is survived by: his children, Menlo Park and Los Altos Hills; his wife Jenay Austin Hoffman; and his children, C. Edward Hoffman (Joy), Paul A. Hoffman (Cindy), Curtis B. Hoffman (Elizabeth), Jeanette L. Fife (Leslie) and William M. Hoffman (Cherilyn). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Due to COVID restrictions, in-person attendance at the viewing and funeral services are for family members only.
