It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Merrill Hughes (Logan, Utah), who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Herbert and Floyle Palmer Merrill; her brother John Clifford Merrill; her nephew James Clifford Merrill Leseberg; and her brother-in-law William Edward Leseberg.
She is survived by: her husband Rickey D Hughes; her close friend Rick; her children, Derrick, Becky Holmquist (Newt) and Carrie Fonnesbeck (Burk); her grandchildren, Jordan Cunningham (James), Madelyn, Megan, Ethan, Deagon Fonnesbeck, Holly Naef (Kolby) and Bailey Holmquist (Lisa); her siblings, Jackie Leseberg, Karen Hughes (Gorden) and Markus Merrill (Barbara); and her sister-in-law Coral Oram.
