He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Day and Arlene Day; and his sister Debbie Purser (Garth). He is survived by: his children, Wayne Day (Maggy) of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Courtney Richardson (Brayden) of Logan, Utah, Nikki Day, Kaci Day and Mindi Day of Logan, Utah; his grandchildren, Jason, Julia, Gracelyn, Jaxon, Trason, Easton and Isabella; and his sisters, Dixie Passey, Lynda Day and SuAnn Day. He is also survived by five children.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family.
