She was predeceased by: her parents, Smith Ackroyd and LaVerna Coleman; her husband Farres; her brothers, Voy and Allen; and her children, Larry and Anne.

She is survived by: her parent-in-law Farres Hurren Nyman; her sister Alice Fife; and her children, Jerry (Carol), Ron Deon (Bruce), Debbie (Val), Greg (Sandy) and Mark (Shari).
