He is survived by: his spouse Geraldine Tenney; and his children, Jeanne Crippen (Michael), Alan (Irma), Bill (Josefina), Kathleen Chee (Ben), Sharon Ashby (James) and Jim (Blanca). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
