She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sylvester Perry and Susan Annie Janes; her spouse Merle M Petersen; her siblings, Ralph Perry, Clarence Perry, May McBride, Cleone Lloyd and Afton Smith; her son Jeffrey Lynn Petersen; and her great grandchild Rose Ruth Diepeveen.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Petersen, Mark Petersen (Karen), Patty Carlson (Jerry), Susan Robbins (Bart) and Lori Whitney (Brian). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
