He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Alton and Louise Syme Hoffman; his son Steve; his brother Alton; his brother-in-law Lynn Ricks; and his nephew Dee Ricks.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Stevens; his children, Vickie Sue (Ken), Steven Robert, Lyle Kay, Jack Darrell (Sheila), Ronald Hugh (Lori) and Alan Todd (Tammy); his sister Carol Ricks Harrison (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Peggy Hoffman. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
