She was predeceased by: her parents, Veril David and Rosella Hannah Hyde Smart; her husband Rey Lars Hyer; her siblings, Glenda Bodily (Arlo), LuJean Viehweg (Joseph), Demar (Edith), Marlow (Barbara) and Boyd (Phyllis); and her grandchildren, April and Joshua.
She is survived by: her children, Gill, Brad, Gordon (LeAnn), Janet (Scott) and Alan; and her brother David Dayton (Mary Ann). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
