He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Simmons and Mary Ann Simmons (McCulloch); his wife Dot Taylor; his sons, Randy (Janet Renner) and Val (Wendy Robinson); his grandchildren, Jane, Laurel and Kim; his brothers, Garth and Darwin; and his children, Jane (Gary Olsen) and Laurel (Farrell Edwards). He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
Because of Covid 19, the only way to attend the funeral will be to watch the broadcast.
