It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Gilbert II of Manti, Utah, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Pinson Gilbert Sr. and Frances Kimbrough Gilbert; his former life partner Marilyn Kay Griffiths Gilbert; his grandson Devin Draper; and his siblings, Ben Helm, Nancy Slaughter, Dobbsie Gates, Norma Boswell, Camille Lundeen Caroline Gates and Dorothy Brown (Anne).

He is survived by : his wife Naomi Campbell Gilbert; his children, Alyce Wilson, Laura VanCleaf, Jon Gilbert (Mayann) and Michelle Leishman (Tyler); and his stepchildren, Naadine Pelham (Marland) and Pete Terry (Sophia). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
