She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Spencer Gibbs and Ida Pearl Howes Jensen; her son Richard Ray Kennedy, Jr.; her granddaughter Alexandra Ann Kennedy; and her siblings, Delone Ray Jensen, Norman Spencer Gibbs, Manton Clement Gibbs, Aileen Evelyn Gibbs Cropper and Marie Louise Gibbs.

She is survived by : her children, Vickie Lee Christensen (Douglas), Valerie Camille Kennedy, Kimberly Sue Kennedy and Marc Christopher Kennedy; and her grandson Nicholas Cameron Kennedy (Lisette). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
