He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Edith Johnson and Jack Lee Johnson; his brothers, Reginald Clark and Robert Edward Gillson; and his sister-in-law Zana Francis Gillson.
He is survived by: his friend Vickie Lee Johnson; and his children, Cyndee Marie Brisk, Alicia Michelle Jenkins, Misti Lee Avila and Jack Lee Johnson III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and several friends.
