He was predeceased by : his parents, James Eldred and Atella Christensen Nilsson; his sister Anna Q Cluff (Warren); and his brother-in-law Roger Swindle. He is survived by : his wife Beverlee; his sons, Kirt Nilsson (Tammy) of Monroe and Kraig Nilsson (Colleen) of Monroe; and his sister-in-law Karen Swindle. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
