He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wendell Winsor Pickering and Esther Jones; his spouse Cori Ann Pearce; his children, Nicholas Ryan Pickering (Trina) and Melissa Ann Pickering; his grandson Braxtyn Ryan Pickering; and his siblings, Fawn Hulet, Kim Pickering, Elmo Pickering and Nolan Pickering.
