He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine R. Goodman (Foley); his son Wayne S. Goodman; his parents, Wilfred Goodman and Fern Goodman; and his brothers, Vern Goodman and Leon Goodman.

He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Johnson; his son-in-law L. J. Johnson; and his grandchildren, Tiffany B. Emery, Travis J. Emery (Carolyn) and Charlene D. Emery-Vaughn. He is also survived by his seven Great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial and expense donations in memory of Acel can be made at America First Credit Union in the name of Bertha M. Johnson.
