She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Forbes and Dora May Taylor Forbes; her spouse Richard C. Carlos; her brothers, Earl Forbes and Blain Forbes; her sister-in-law Renee; her sister Evelyn; and her son Craig Carlos.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila A. Carlos, Holly Skeen (Mark), Todd R. Carlos and Tracy R. Carlos; her sister Marie Seegmiller (Dale); and her daughter-in-law Julie Carlos. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with two on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
