With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Markos (Ogden, Utah), born in Price, Utah, who passed away on May 15, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fotis Konakis and Ellen Konakis; her daughter Pat Benson (Robert); and her siblings, Nick, Gus, Marino Konakis, Athena Himonas Kontas, Olga Halamandaris, Stella Dokos and Christine Cuatto.
She is survived by: her husband George H. Markos; her children, Harry G. Markos (Penny), Frank G. Markos (Sharon), Francine Stout (Walter) and Elaine Bapis (Nick); and her siblings, Stanley Konakis and Georgia Hohlios. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren, and two step great-great-grandchildren.
