He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar "Pete" and Betty Rippee Essary; his sister Leslie; and his sister-in-law Margaret. He is survived by: his former wife Stephanie Jackson; his wife Nancy Essary; his son-in-law Richard; his children, Richard Essary (Kathy) and Angela Hummel (Richard); his grandchildren, Dominic, Landon and Abigail Hummel; his siblings, Russell Essary (Debbie) and Jean Fry; and his pet Cory. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Joseph Catholic Elementary School or Best Friends Animal Society.
