He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his grandson Ted Crosbie; and his sister Elsie Best. He is survived by: his children, Florence Kay Clinton (Rodney) of Omaha, NE and James Roy Emerson of Yelm, WA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
