With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva Merkley (Ogden, Utah), born in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on June 6, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ezra McBride and Myrtle Bowen; her husband Phil; her brothers, Verl, Glen and Kenneth; and her grandson Joshua.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Marilyn), David (Marian), Daniel (Pamela), Farley (Colleen) and Matthew (Cindy); her foster son Sterling John; her sister Bonnie Bartlett; and also, Patricia Hunt and Phil. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
