He is survived by: his sister Merlee Larsen; his children, Gordon Jay Smith (Jeanne), Lane Dee Smith (Laurie), Randy Lynn Smith, Tammy Nyland (Jim) and Todd L. Smith (Shara); and his nephews, David and Steve Johansen. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
