He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his brothers, Dale Halverson and Ronald Halverson; and his sons, Scott Halverson (Vicky) and Jeffrey Halverson (Claudette).

He is survived by: his children, Michael Halverson (Jodi), Kirk Halverson (Betsy) and Sherry Kerbo; and his brother Phillip Halverson.
