He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Dorotha East Stitt; his wife Leah; his children, Roger Melvin Stitt (Ardith Redfearn), Kathleen Stitt Rigby, Ralph James Stitt (Rebecca Lynn Bell), Janean Stitt Haeffele (Gregory Paul Haeffele) and Roy Lynn Stitt; and his father James East Leah Stitt. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
