He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ray and James. He is survived by: his spouse Susan Mae Richardson; his children, Curtis Jay Orton, Jordan James Orton, Michael Lee Orton and Kaylee Sue Orton; and his siblings, Kelly Joe Orton (Donna), Lucille Hall (Dennis), Cathy Manos and LouAnn Fisk.
