He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Consuelo Beltran; his wife Elizabeth Flores; his children, Joe, Jr. Flores (Maria), Roy, Melissa Salazar (Isaiah), David Flores (Sheila), Mike Flores (Stefanie), Gabriel Flores (Tiffany) and Tony Flores (Ali); his siblings, Oscar Flores, Ruben Garza, Jesse Garza, Fina Flores, Lupe Flores, Rosa Flores, Yolanda Flores and Connie Garza; his son Javier Flores; his mother Consuelo Garza; and his close friend Johnny Gomez. He was also cherished by 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
