He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Nacario and Moses Palau. He is survived by: his son Lani Shawn Palau; his granddaughter Taylee Barrera-Palau (Taya); and his siblings, Michael Palau (Shellie), Jean Roskelley (Ron), Dean Nacario (Pam), Amanda Naycalo, Rupert Nacario and Lina Hookano (Ezra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
