It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Tomada Brittelle (Ogden, Utah), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Lena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aarons Mortuary & Crematory - Ogden (496 24th St, Ogden, UT 84401). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Columba Catholic Church (1800 E 2nd Ave, Durango, CO 81301). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 900 Cemetery Rd, Durango, CO 81301.
Lena will be laid to rest with her mother in the Greenmount Cemetery, 900 Cemetery Road, Durango, Colorado, In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (mailto: [email protected]) in memory of Lena Brittelle.
