She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Rulon and Bonnie LaFreniere Buist; and her siblings, Susanne Farley, Nita Potter and Randy Buist.
She is survived by: her pet Smokey; her children, Anthony DeMille, Zachary Simpson and J. J. Prindle; her brothers, Jack Buist and James Buist; and her nieces, Nicki Britton and Dina Nay. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
