He was predeceased by: his parents, William Athol Stevenson and LaVon Nelson Stevenson; his son Dee Myron; and his siblings, Eugene, Edwin, Keith, Virginia Rhodes and Elaine Leishman.

He is survived by: his spouse Deola; and his children, Michael (Karen), Bob, Val (Lydia), Nancy Hennefer (Corey) and Peggy Olearain (Randy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
