He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Holmes; his children, Laurie Palmer, John Valdez, Angela Valdez (Deon), Maria Watkins and Stephen Valdez (Molly); and his siblings, Lucy, Catherine, Charlie, Junior, Roger and Michael. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
