He is survived by: his parents, Robert M. Nye and Estella Randall Nye; his friend Bruce Jackson; his spouse Ruth Nye; his children, Niki Glasmann (Tommy), Robert Nye (Theresa) and Steve Nye (Tiffani); and his siblings, Jay C. Nye (DeeAnn), Margaret Black (Fred) and Denice Roundy (Terry). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
