He was predeceased by: his son Ronald Jay Van Alfen; and his son-in-law Andy Heslop. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Janeil Thompson (Ed), Jerry Van Alfen (Laura) and Annette Heslop; his daughter-in-law Terrie Lundgren; and his siblings, Neal Van Alfen (Pam) and Marcia Dixon (Jerry). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22-1/2 great-grandchildren.
